What is MyHostVault?
MyHostVault is a shared web hosting service for individuals, bloggers, developers and small businesses in India. We host PHP and WordPress websites at an affordable monthly price, with free website migration and support from real people.
Do I need to buy hosting for a whole year?
No. You can pay month by month. If you prefer, you can also choose 3, 6 or 12 months at a lower effective monthly price. There is no long-term contract.
Are the prices final? Are there hidden charges?
The price you see is the price you pay. All prices are in Indian Rupees and include any applicable taxes. There are no setup fees or surprise charges at checkout.
Can I upgrade later?
Yes. As we add bigger plans you will be able to move to them from your dashboard. Your websites stay where they are.
Hosting & websites
How many websites can I host?
The Starter plan lets you host up to 5 websites. All websites on your account share the plan's total storage and resources.
Does MyHostVault support WordPress?
Yes. Our servers run PHP and MySQL, which is exactly what WordPress needs. You can install WordPress on any website in your account.
Which PHP versions are available?
We provide current, supported PHP versions and you can choose the version for each website from your hosting control panel. We will list the exact versions in the knowledge base once the server is live.
Is storage or bandwidth unlimited?
No, and we do not advertise "unlimited" resources because no server has them. Each plan has a clear storage limit, and bandwidth follows a fair-use policy that is explained on the Web Hosting page.
Do I get a control panel?
Yes. Every customer gets their own separate hosting control panel login to manage files, databases, FTP and SSL. Other customers can never see your account.
Domains & SSL
Do you sell domain names?
Not at the moment. You can buy a domain from any registrar and point it to our server. We give you simple step-by-step DNS instructions in your dashboard.
Is SSL included?
Yes. Free SSL certificates (HTTPS) are included for every website hosted with us, once your domain points to our server.
Can I use a subdomain or a domain I already own?
Yes. Add the domain or subdomain in your dashboard and update its DNS records as shown in the instructions. Each domain is checked so that only one customer can add it.
Free migration
How does free migration work?
After you sign up, submit a migration request from your dashboard with details of your current website. Our team copies your files and database to your new hosting, checks that it works, and tells you when to switch your domain. One website migration is included in the Starter plan.
Will my website go offline during migration?
We copy your website first and test it on our server. Your old website keeps running until you change the DNS to point to us, so downtime is kept to a minimum.
Is my old hosting password safe with you?
Yes. Migration credentials are stored encrypted, only shown to the staff member doing your migration, and deleted once the migration is complete. Please never send passwords inside normal support messages.
Billing & support
How do I pay?
You pay online in Indian Rupees through a secure payment gateway. Your invoices and payment history are always available in your dashboard.
Will you charge my card automatically?
No. We send you reminders before your hosting expires and you pay the renewal invoice yourself. We never deduct money without your clear consent.
What happens if I forget to renew?
You get a short grace period after the expiry date. If the invoice is still unpaid after that, the hosting is paused until you pay. We do not delete your website data immediately. See the Refund Policy and Terms for exact timelines.
How do I get support?
Open a support ticket from your dashboard or email us. Tickets are answered by real people on our team, not bots.
